Modest contributions to a venerable Central Florida industry

reflecting our nursery's origin story and beginnings.

Like many others in Central Florida, our family's story was driven by farming and horticulture. Many grandparents, uncles, and cousins worked in various nurseries and landscape crews throughout from the 1940's until the present day.
​
Foggy Hill was founded in 2024 to continue that tradition, and we hope that you find our nursery to be an honorable continuation.

Pictured above is Joseph Todd, Don Bailey Jr.'s maternal great grandfather. He is about 70 years old here in about 1950. Yards were plowed up before grading by shovel and hand digging sod to relocate. It took a week or more to landscape a small house.
